SMS Giveaway #3 - Baby/Toddler Quilt

I'm going to be hosting three giveaways for SMS Giveaway Day to say THANK-YOU for all the amazing online crafters that inspire me every day and all my wonderful and supportive followers!  I've also been blessed by winning a bunch of giveaways this past year, and want to spread the joy of giving!

So here's Giveaway #3 - this sweet little quilt is made from the Tweet Tweet line by Moda.  It's sure to make a special gift for a little one, or you can use it as a wallhanging in a child's room or the playroom.

To enter, just answer the question, what's your favourite handmade gift to give or receive?
And to thank all my followers (new & old), you can leave an extra comment for a bonus entry.

Open internationally.  Giveaway ends December 16th.  Winner will be picked by random.org.
Good luck!

I get handmade gifts from my girls they made in school very year. Lovely things like wooden angels and heards or feltet ornaments for the tree. Myself I love to knit. So I make socks, scarfs, hats etc. Sometimes I also sew little things like a smell pillow (don't know if this is the correct word in Englisch) I'm from Austria. Love your blog and will be a follower in futur. Thanks for the chance!

What a sweet little quilt! I've never received anything handmade before.. I'm really racking my brain to think of something! This year, however, I have attempted my first pattern and article of clothing.. I'm making my niece an Oliver + S jacket... So far so good.. I'm pretty chuffed but dreading the buttons!

Oh and I've been a follower! I love all your stuff!

WOW! Your quilt is amazing! I'm a knitter and my favorite gift to give is baby/toddler hats. I love to make them because they are quick to knit but you can add so much cuteness with your yarn choices, embellishments, or embroidery. Thanks for offering such a generous giveaway.

I don't really have a favorite gift per say. My favorite part about exchanging hand made gifts is seeing the creativity of others. I do have diaper bag that my friend made me for more soon to be little one and I love it.

I like giving handmade baby clothes or toys whenever my friend's have babies. I don't usually make handmade things for Christmas though, besides sweets.

I love to give sewn tissue holders. I've found not everyone is a cryer, but they're very practical bc you never know who will need a tissue.

My favorite gift that I have received was a scarf that my grandma knitted for me. It is so wide and long that I use it as a blanket sometimes when it is too cold in the car. It is perfect.

I really love this, it could be a favorite handmade gift :) I made my son a teenage mutant ninja turtle for his 5th birthday this year and he absolutely loved it and it made me so happy that he actually liked something that I made for him with my own hands ...

I love homemade gifts! When they are from the heart it is hard to name a favorite, but I can qualify it more by saying the more personally suited to the person the more special the gift. My favorite gift that I have ever received was a cd made by my brother. He had written a song for each family member and made a cd of all of the songs. How great is that?

Adorable quilt!! Love the colors. My favorite handmade gift to give is anything for charity, blankets, dresses, stockings, etc. It just warms my heart!

Anonymous said... #

I love handmade gifts. I love the uniqueness of them and know that someone spent a lot of time and put a lot of thought into making something for me. And do you know what else? My kids love handmade items a ton too - I am so proud of that! I think they see my appreciation for things handmade and they know they are extra special. What a great gift to pass on to my children. :)

Thank you for the chance to win your adorable quilt!

My favourite gift to give would be my baked Christmas hampers. I fill them with different things each year (but always my shortbread!) and they are always well-received, especially from those loved ones who don't want for anything.
