SMS Giveaway #2 - Handmade Tote

I'm going to be hosting three giveaways for SMS Giveaway Day to say THANK-YOU for all the amazing online crafters that inspire me every day and all my wonderful and supportive followers!  I've also been blessed by winning a bunch of giveaways this past year, and want to spread the joy of giving!

So here's Giveaway #2 - a 241 Tote made especially for one of you!  This tote has lots of handy pockets (I love the outside ones for my keys and cell phone!), and has a longer strap so it can be worn cross-body.

To enter, just answer the question, what's your favourite style/size of bag?  If you have a pattern suggestion, please leave it in your comment!
And to thank all my followers (new & old), you can leave an extra comment for a bonus entry.

Open internationally.  Giveaway ends December 16th.  Winner will be picked by random.org.
Good luck!

I really love tote bags that have a long enough handle to put over your shoulder but not too long to drag on the ground...
I love this one and the fabric is great!

Oh that is gorgeous, thanks for the chance to win!

My favourite style for me is a satchel type, or tote type bag, but to make for others I try and pull off more sophisticated styles lol

Cross body bags are a MUST when going out with kiddos! But even when I'm NOT out with the kids, I love to have my hands free! I LOVE this bag- we're big bird fans in this house!

My favorite bag is one that's made of linen or another rough natural material. Looks so classic! I love the fabrics you put together on this one!

Love your pretty bag. My favorite size bag is small. I tend to lose my stuff if it's too big. Then it tends to get very heavy.

DangAndBlast! said... #

Lovely, classy bag. My favorite size is ... big enough to hold a book or two (I'm always reading), but not so big I'll fill it and make it weigh 20 pounds... Style? Anything with pockets! Structure is good too (my first few bags I didn't think about that, so used thin cottons and no lining or interfacing. I'm better now).

I had a real purse... im afraid I dont remember what kind I like.

Thank you for the give away.

I saw your fabric give away first and suggested I would make a bag or a dress for my daughter - then I see this bag and think - I could never make anything that beautiful so Now I am really hoping I win your bag. I love a good tote bag or fancy eco-bag. They are endlessly useful and I always have a few around but this would be my new favourite. As a mummy there is never enough room in a normal hand bag for all the things a mummy ends up carrying.

I have been dreaming of a bag SET. So one is a small purse with a wide over-shoulder strap, then the other, a tote-type would clip onto the same strap. Then I could go out with just the purse, or if I'm going somewhere I need my sewing stuff I could just clip it on and not have two bags. I'm still not sure HOW to do it, but that is my dream bag.
