New school outfit . . .

I've had these fabrics in my stash for awhile, and had a dress pattern that needed testing for Sew Sweet Patterns.  There was just enough of the dark purple fabric to squeeze out a pair of footless tights (which were so simple to whip up, I think I may need to make a bunch more for my girls this winter).
And a happy little girl has one more school outfit :)
Linking up to Sew Modern Monday.

Love it! And you can tell your little girl feels very pretty wearing it, which is most important of all!

Adorable!

PS: How do you make your footless tights? With four daughters who love to be barefoot but need to keep their legs warm, a quick, easy way to sew these would be great.

I came over here to thank you for commenting on my blog & for understanding (I was nervous to post that). Then I got lost in your blog- I'm so impressed by all of your sewing! :) I haven't sewn in quite a while, but I'm planning to do a quilt soon out of baby clothes- I'm excited, but I'm not sure when I'll find time to do it! (which just brings me back to my wanting to be busy, but wanting to be still issue ;)
Thanks again for stopping by!
