My daughter 'designed' this quilt last week, and last night I finished up the binding on it for her. She had requested flowers and hearts for the quilting, and it was fun to try it out for the first time on a smaller project.
She was super excited to find the quilt on her bed when she woke up this morning, and my older girls are already asking if they can make some during Spring break.

It's seriously cute and lovely teamwork! Well done for a first try on the FMQ. Encouraging, too.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Great design and fab quilting :)
It's so nice when we can make them that happy. Great job on the design and quilting
Beautiful! Do you hire her out? ;)
Oh,I love this!!!
When my girl was little she used to make her own designs but I had so much to do with her litle twinbrothers so I never had the time to sew her quilts.
I surprised her two years ago and made one of her designs.
She was so happy, but she had turned 21 years...
I Ike the quilting, Rebecca! You can hardly see the individual squares, it almost looks like ombré fabric.
#1 your daughter is adorable, I love how proud she is.
#2. the quilt is beautiful! I'm working on my first and it's giving me a run for my money! Hoping I can be an effortless quilter like you some day :)
Glad I stopped by from the link party!
