Divided Totes...

Today I'm linked up to the Shaffer Sisters blog. They're hosting a series of handmade items for women, and my divided totes are being featured today. You can find my original tutorial for these totes here.

These bags are great for the gym, knitting projects, or taking to work. I sewed up another one this week in a taller size, and it's going to fit knitting needles and larger projects nicely.

Thank-you for stopping by today!

I clicked on your picture at Quilt Story's Fabric Tuesday because the divider intrigued me. I usually see the divider sewn in lengthwise. After seeing more pictures of your version, I can see how they can be useful. And yes, I would use one of those for carrying my yarn projects, for vacation for example! Thank you!

Great tote! I like the idea of better organizing my stuff. Will check out the tut.

That tree is so gorgeous. I love a good divided bag so I will have to save that tutorial. I'm always using bags to bring projects from home to car and back and it looks perfect for that. :)

Hi Rebecca,

I've used your tutorial to make one of the totes today and it was great fun (and really easy). Thanks for the great tutorial.

Cheers,
