Nancy Drew blog hop and Giveaway

Today is my day in the Nancy Drew blog hop!
I had a lot of fun playing with my Nancy Drew fabrics
and made a little book bag.

It's the perfect size for toting around a few favorite mysteries . . .

And since this is a Nancy Drew bag, it had to include a special pocket for a notebook and pen - absolute musts for little detectives.

And a special hiding spot in the back . . .

I hope you enjoyed my little creation!  THANKS for stopping by!

I have three extra fat quarters of Nancy Drew fabric to give away - just leave a comment below!

And here are the rest of the stops for today:

Cute bag! Where did you find those colored snaps? I've been looking all over and just ordered open ring colored ones from Jlittle sewing supplies but couldn't find any at Joanns, Walmart, etc... Your bag is very clever with that fold down pad and pen section, very creative. Jane

First time visiting (through Finish it up Friday at Crazymomquilts). Your little detective bag is very cute -- I would love to make something for my daughter like that - maybe an I Spy bag since she isn't familiar with Nancy Drew yet since she's only 4! But I know I loved reading them as a kid, so I am sure she'll love them too.

Unknown said... #

Absolutely adorable - the model and the bag! :-) With 3 generations of Nancy Drew fans and 6 granddaughters, your creation has inspired me to sew a bag with this great fabric collection.
