I recently got the opportunity to work with two fantastic new sponsors. Wholeport is a huge online store filled with fabric, trims, beads, embroidery supplies, and much more. Most of their cotton fabrics come in 60" width, and after receiving two prints from them, I had enough to cut out two complete bags - one for me and one for one of you! For the bag pattern, I received the Steph-in-the-City pattern from Emmaline Bags. I love the belt detail and hardware on this bag, and the adjustable strap so I can wear it cross-body or on my shoulder. The pattern designer Janelle did a great job with her instructions and pictures.

My favorite purse is something small that I can sling over my shoulder and doesn't hold much. ( My favorite of all time is the mini hipster by Vera Bradley) However, my hubby and I fly a lot and for that I love a HUGE bage to use as a carry-on!

Those I use most often are clutches and totes. I like that I can stick a clutch right on top of my larger bag with all the kid's stuff and keep my things together.

I love a purse to be just big enough to hold my e-reader, phone and keys. I used to carry a little eye glass case with keys and cards in it but had to upsize when I get a cell phone. Now I've had to upsize again for the e-reader but only with reluctance. The only time I like a really big bag is when I fly. This bag looks perfect for flying!

I love small bags. The reason is I like to carry a lot of stuff with me but my back does not... As I carry as much as my bag can stand, small bags are my "reasonable" choice (and it makes it impossible for my husband to stuck any of HIS stuff in my bag, yeah !)

I like medium handbags. If they are too big.... I put too much stuff in them and they get Heavy.
I like medium-sized bags, preferably with a shoulder strap for hands-free carrying. But in the winter I'll also transfer my wallet to a teensy little one so I can go purse-free and keep everything in my coat pockets instead.
