I'm pretty sure if I don't win this book I'll be buying it anyway! Since we are finally having a little girl I'm getting very excited about all the fun clothes to make for her. This book looks fabulous, and I need all the help I can get with knits!
I haven't sewn with knits before, I have bought knits and patterns but never taken the plunge - I get scared of the ball point needle and the stretch factor and go back to cottons and denims.

I haven't sewn with knits, but I seem to have a bit in my stash from hand-me-overs from my Mom and others. I need to just get brave and do it!

I live in the boondocks & have no local source for Patty Young's cute knits, although I've purchased them online. One of my other favorite online sources for quality knits is Chez Ami. They sell the same fabrics they use to create their ready-to-wear clothing. I would treasure this book!

This looks like a great book to have for dress making. I have been looking for good patterns to make charity dresses and haven't sewed in years, so good to relearn and have some nice patterns for all sizes.
We used to have a nice large fabric store with all types of fabrics, but they closed down.

I've done some appliqué with knits, but i have to admit i've been a bit nervous to jump in and makes something soley from them. The other day i did buy some ball point needles so it's definitely on the horizon!

I LOVE everything Patty Young! I have some of her knits (I got on sale on Etsy) in my sewing stash waiting for the perfect project! Maybe it will be found in the book---my fingers are crossed! I have sewn with knits before, usually in combo with cotton wovens--I have made the "comfy yoga suit" from Heidi & Finn patterns several times with knits--they do take a bit of practice!
