My youngest hates sand and a beach towel is too small for him to be "safe" so, with the warm wheather comming I need to start working on a quilt to take to the beach a put the poor little guy away from the sand :)

I have not been sewing long. I've taken a few classes at Joann Fabric. I would probably make something for my kids. When I find fabric I'll sit on it for awhile before deciding exactly what I'm going to do with it.
