Giveaway for 9 yards of NEW Eco-Cotton Batting from Pellon!

Pellon has just released a brand new Eco-Cotton Blend Batting - 70% recycled cotton/30% recycled polyester batting with scrim.  This product was just released at Quilt Market, and I had the chance to work with some it.  It is so soft and has a beautiful weight and drape to it.  And they are offering one of you a 9 yard board (96" width) of this beautiful batting for your future projects!

Pellon has a big selection of battings, as well as many other products for your crafting and sewing needs.  One of my personal favourite products is their fusible fleece - it gives beautiful structure to bags and purses and it is so easy to work with.  I buy the fusible fleece in larger quantities and it's still gone in no time!

Pellon also has a website called PellonProjects.com where you can find lots of projects designed and submitted by Pellon Artists.  If you think you have a project that works great with Pellon products and would like to submit it (and possibly receive free Pellon products to create it with), please email me at ourbusylittlebunch@hotmail.com and I'll forward your contact information to them!

Now, how do you win this generous prize of 9 yards of Pellons new Eco-Cotton blend batting?  You can do any or all of the following, and please leave a separate comment for each one (up to 3 separate comments).

  • Tell me what your favourite Pellon® product is and how you use it.
  • Publicly follow my blog OurBusyLittleBunch with GFC.
  • Blog, tweet, or Facebook about this giveaway and leave the link (only one entry, even if you do more than one of these)
Giveaway winner will be selected by Random.org and announced on Monday, Nov 28th.  Good luck!

I use a lot of Pellon products, but lately I've been using SF101- Shape Flex to fuse in (just in the seam allowances) non-fusible heavier interfacing, to avoid the crinkled look that fusibles often produce. I learned that making the Amy Butler Weekender bag. It really works great for bag-making!

Goodness, I use iron on pellon in tons of my sewing projects. It adds so much body to costume and vintage hats. I make lots of historical hats and used to be limited in what fabric I would dare use because of their lightweight. Hi Rebecca!!
I am delighted to find and meet you via the ethers of the internet.
https://www.facebook.com/OurBusyBunch#!/profile.php?id=100000503493352
Like many others, I've used the firm Peltex heavyweight fusible and non-fusible for projects requiring body (postcards, tote sides and such), I also bought a small bolt of Pellon lightweight fusible for the back of stitched projects (quilt blocks, small zippered bags, et al) which need a lightweight bit of support. I had no idea they make fusible fleece so I'm heading to JoAnn's this weekend to check their display out! The Eco-Cotton Batting sounds magnificent! I'd love to win and I feel like a winner having found your blog. I wish you had an option to have new posts emailed to me. ::: hint hint ::: So, for now, I'll follow and check in on you and yours.
Happiest Holiday season,
