my go-to birthday gift . . .

Another birthday invitation came home last week and another little apron was made. When I find kids cookbooks for a good price, I try to stock up and had one left in the house. My daughters and I counted up nine little aprons and six other handmade gifts that were given out this past year, and coming up in May there might be some doubles. So I'm on the lookout for more quick gifts, especially for little girls . . .

I love the apron & cookbook gift idea. Very cute & easy!

Here is a tutorial I stumbled upon the other day & plan to make these for some of the little girls in my family. Thought I would share since you mentioned looking for more quick gifts to make- http://justanotherhangup.blogspot.com/2010/03/lil-girl-springtime-tote-tutorial.html

Oh I love that apron - the fabric is gorgeous - could you tell me who makes it please. That is a wonderful gift idea - any young cook would love to receive that combo :0)

What a great idea. Georgia over at www.stitchlings.blogspot.com made some cute wee headbands recently which could be great little girl gifts :)
